Making your School CPD budget go further whilst increasing its effectiveness!

I was chatting to one of the headteachers who we work with regularly. For many years now, she has attended PBM courses with one or two delegates from her own school. She commented on how beneficial it is within her own school (which is outstanding) for teachers to access CPD courses in pairs or in threes. By attending courses using this model, you instantly create a focus group or task force which can be highly effective when you return to school. When members of staff attend courses together, they can discuss the course content and how it could be used within the context of their own school, they can bounce additional ideas off each other and by the end of the day, or on the journey home, they are often buzzing with energy and starting to put together a plan of how they can implement or incorporate the course content within their own classroom, subject area or within the whole school.

For some schools, their CPD budget, or lack of it, can make it difficult for more than one delegate to attend the course so to help our members, PBM have created a price structure which reduces the cost per person when you book two places, and reduces the cost per person a little bit more if you book 3 places.
