A note from the tutor
A note from the course tutor
Hello, my name is Alison. I am passionate about developing leaders of the future and this course was designed for the sole purpose of creating an affordable yet creative tool kit for middle leaders.
Working within schools on a regular basis, I am aware that strong successful middle leaders are the pivotal drivers for school improvement. A strong accountable middle leadership team who own their data and the story of their subject area can transform an ofsted inspection. This course aims to make middle leaders accountable and to see themselves as aspiring senior leaders. I have created a one day course to equip middle leaders with the essential tool kit to model best practice and to successfully lead their teams and become part of a distributive leadership team. An outstanding leadership and management judgement is focused upon creating ‘ vision and ambition for the school’, this can only be achieved with leadership being successful at all levels. This course will develop such ambition.
