The course is designed for Primary Senior Leaders, SENCOs, Curriculum Leaders, Teachers, Teaching Assistants. This is now an established course. On pilot courses participants have found that it is particularly effective when SLT or classroom teachers attend with their teaching assistants. It helps participants to get an understanding of how to maximise the potential of the teaching assistant as an individual and as part of the whole organisation. The course looks at the role of the effective Teaching Assistant, levels of working and expectations, roles and responsibilities, clear and effective line management and effective communication intervention and evaluation.
