On 26 January we will be providing a course called Assessment for Learning: Including Life after Levels and the New Common Inspection Framework.
The course will take place at Heath House Training and Conference Centre in Uttoxeter Staffordshire.
This focus of this course is on the use of teacher assessment at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Participants are taught to use formative assessment as part of day-to-day teaching. The training includes understanding and applying inspection criteria, assessing using criterion referenced descriptors, identifying learning needs, lesson planning, using learning intentions and success criteria, target setting at group and individual pupil level, and effective marking techniques.
